About Company/Client is a prominent B2B platform that connects buyers in the US and Europe with suppliers and manufacturers of high-quality handicrafts from Asia. They specialize in sourcing authentic and unique handicrafts from India, Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, and Singapore. ArtisanBaba’s mission is to promote the work of artisans and craftsmen in Asia by making it easy for entrepreneurs and retailers to source these exquisite products for their online stores or brick-and-mortar shops.

Founder – Heemang Parmar approached Virusha Tech Pvt. Ltd. with the objective of developing a mobile app to enhance its platform’s accessibility, user experience, and engagement. The client aimed to provide a convenient and efficient way for buyers to connect with suppliers and browse a vast catalog of high-quality handicrafts. The goal was to facilitate cross-border B2B trade and promote the work of Asian artisans.

Virusha Tech Pvt. Ltd. proposed a comprehensive solution to address‘s challenges and meet its objectives:

  • Cross-Border B2B Platform: Virusha Tech developed a secure and user-friendly mobile app that enables buyers in the US and Europe to connect with suppliers from Asia seamlessly. This involved implementing robust communication tools, integrated payment gateways, and multi-language support.
  • Catalog Management: A customized product catalog management system was created, allowing to efficiently organize, showcase, and update its extensive range of handicrafts. The mobile app incorporated filters, search functionalities, and recommendations based on user preferences.

Design and Development Process -

In this initial phase, we engaged in a comprehensive discovery process with the client to understand their identity, values, and target audience. We also evaluated the existing platform’s strengths and weaknesses. Key activities included:

  • Feature Planning: Determining the overall feature set and development strategy.
  • Technology Selection: Choosing the technology stack best suited for the project.

With the design direction established, we proceeded to build the mobile app and create engaging content. This phase encompassed:
